1.Move back hand back a few inches.
2. Unhook and bear away onto a run whilst moving the rig back, then forward and across the board.
3. Pop when on a run and jump downwind, attempting to jump through the sail. The rig should be above the board when the pop is initiated.
4. The rig continues to move across to the windward side of the board, push down with a straight front arm.
5. Keep back hand sheeted in, landing in an upwind 360 position.
6. Look into the rotation.
7. As the clew moves through the wind slide your back hand up the boom towards your front hand to sheet out.
Light Wind Practice
Heli tacks, Upwind 360’s.
1. Same as the flaka until the pop. As you pop let go with your front hand and point into the rotation and throw the sail with your back hand.
2. As the clew passes through the wind place your hand back on the boom, or slide the hand on the boom up to the mast.
